Personality: Mindartis wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. Meriele is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Meriele lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Meriele was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Spice Merchant. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends
