Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears dull yellow sweaters, loose pastel pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise brown.

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Roywyn and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.
