History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Through the years after Therlin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Therlin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.

History: Born in the north to a Carter, Elizabeth learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has worked as a Carter like her father before her.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and revenge
