Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears a black costume with the symbols of magic on her torso. Her brass crest is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her face is scarred and worn.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Carter business.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Golm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: Jo was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He carries a battered monstrous two handed axe and tarnished morningstar as well. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. He has amber eyes.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants; and he has money and likes to spend it
