His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He became a Fletcher soon after.

Personality: Verin hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Verin is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Verin was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

Personality: Seere is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She married young, but lost her spouse to dire rats. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.
