She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. After a long history of fighting, Ovak and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born in the west. Heian was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Junk Dealer. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Paelias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
