History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Unemployed. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Unemployed for the past few years.

Through the years after Finellen was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
