Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Sammal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Philomena grew up listening to her father's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
