History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Shipwright mother left her crippled. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Personality: Nuraval wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He now mingles about in high society.
