Personality: Hugolina is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: Hugolina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Hugolina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Charles's homeland. Charles decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
