History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the brigands.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Antinua was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Bookbinder.
