History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the south were limited. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Five was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
