He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Valafar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to clean up the streets

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She moved out south to avoid the crime she committed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Helen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Guard, but she got bored and became a Brewer. She's also a talented Guard, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she's repulsed by the pc
