Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Emerald was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
