History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born in the south to a Detective, Matilda learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
