Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Makaria was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.

History: Anne was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
