History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Rieta liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Courier, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Courier and was forced into it by his family.

He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His long black hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is heavily combed to the right. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and he is content
