History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Knight, but he got bored and became a Mason. He became a Mason soon after.

Personality: Dean hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Animal Trainer again; and balancing her hectic life and new carter responsibilities is difficult
