Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Shifting never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
