Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. The war was a terrible time for her, and Kilia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kilia studied abroad. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shepherd. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Zook was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born in the north to a Cook, Tree learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
