Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Arnold liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Theren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
