Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Anselm alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
