Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. His head has been shaved. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hobart is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She is wearing a long, brown cloak. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are amber.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a Sailor, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by unlife.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business

Description: This late middle aged man wears a tan vest and prefers black and yellow shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down and is in decent physical shape. He has moderate length blonde hair. His amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Traki does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Traki grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Bard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Barakas was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.
