History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has never given up on her painting dream.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has achieved small success as a Baker.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is greedy

Description: She typically wears yellow cloth garments or leather armor. She wears a feathered hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for her, and Lia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
