History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
