History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he wears a yellow coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a small hat upon his head. His hair is blonde, silky, and of moderate length. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Bertram was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Bellfounder and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bellfounder for hire.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He is a Bookbinder first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
