History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Heian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Shepherd, but he got bored and became a Mason. He has achieved small success as a Mason.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Agatha hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Butcher. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and doesn't want to be a butcher and was forced into it by her family

Description: This younger middle-aged man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Dain was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Hunter. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She has a missing left arm. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her chestnut hair is lengthy. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 51. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. Cora enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
