History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Silaqui was born on a far eastern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Painter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Keyleth was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
