When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Naeris learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents were killed by goblins in a raid when she was still a young child. The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Grigi was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
