History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

He worked as a Gardener, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Kite wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Barbarian, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kite was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
