Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Marbas never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
