History: Valanthe hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears tattered old clothes. He has black fur. His yellow unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a great chef.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pelt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Joser alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Actor father left her crippled. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and she feels kind of lost in life
