History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Aust was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Shadow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Kody was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kody's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
