History: Born to a Baker, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got money to start a business from the gang present in town. He is greatly indebted to them.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emeny grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emeny. She became a Barrister soon after.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nissa embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She became a Scribe soon after.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
