Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: The child of a Servant, who enjoyed hunting, Frug was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Gerard began to lead the lost caravan. He has worked as a Slave Trader like his father before him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
