Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a great chef.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: An older man who sports tan clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'5" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is cut short. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved out south to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average woman, she is not imposing. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her tied-back hair is red. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She got into the Doctor business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Doctor responsibilities is difficult; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
