He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Egelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Egelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands.
