Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in the east. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: Ishte lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
