History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new ruler responsibilities is difficult

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
