Description: An older man who wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is brown and very short. This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Halimath was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Sculptor. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Theren would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: Her right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She keeps her black hair in a pixie cut. Her amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tenena fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
