History: Ovina lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable
