Personality: Miles hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Miles was born the youngest of three triplets. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She has achieved small success as a Mason.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and to be a detective again

Description: This woman wears yellow painted combat armor at almost all times, and sports empty pouches on her belt. Her hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. She has green eyes.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Helen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Helen. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture
