Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 6'1". He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat, and his gloved hand is found clutching a lance. He wears a feathered hat to hide his balding. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
