Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He has brown fur. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Revenge; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with green slacks. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: She stands about 5'3" and wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her pickaxe with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her left leg appears badly burned and disfigured. Her black hair is wavy and long. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Tagga hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tagga grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a tight black one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
