History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emerald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emerald. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: He is a Maurezhi in disguise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Stylist. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Stylist for hire.
