History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Halander grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She can't help but pocket interesting objects she comes across

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Oriel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Oriel. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
