History: Shamil lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a Tailor, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She became a Navigator soon after.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
