History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
