History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Leshanna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Leshanna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Drusilia was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Drusilia's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to raise her children well

History: Peren was born the youngest of three triplets. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
