History: Seraphina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. After a long history of fighting, Seraphina and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Great was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Shax never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
